We need volunteers to help out with the preparation. For those helping in the kitchen, please arrive at Parkway Bible Church at 3:30pm, and all other helpers arrive by 5:30pm.   • Short-term Missions Seminar : On Saturday, June 27, the Missions Committee will be hosting a missions preparation seminar, which will be led by MissionPREP. This seminar is intended to enhance our effectiveness in intercultural ministry. While our target audience is our Quebec STM volunteers, we'd like to extend the invitation to all who are interested in missions. Registration will take place at 8:30am on June 27th, and the seminar itself will run from 9am-4pm. There is a minimal cost of $5 for lunch and refreshments.   • Thank God for his leading in our building project. Through your prayers the building project is moving smoothly. We have submitted our site plan agreement and all the necessary fees to the city of Markham and the city will require about a month to process and issue the building permit to us.
  • Regarding the building plan & design, our architect has completed making the necessary amendments and after studying the plan our building consultant finds no major problem with it and will send the plans to the selected 5 contractors for tender by mid April. We hope to receive tenders from the contractors after 4 weeks and pick 2 contractors for final decision.

  • 30-Hr Famine: In the recent 30-hr famine, our young people collected $1441.35 for World Vision. Congratulations to a great job done. They are also thankful for the support of our congregation.

  • 30-Hour Famine: Our Young people will be involved in the 30-hr Famine in April 8-9. This year we are encouraging family involvement. Instead of just our young people, parents are also encoruaged to participate. Please see Pastor Lee for details.

  • Defending Traditional Marriage: In an effort to defend traditional marriage, our church is joining all Chinese churches in Toronto to mobilize all church members to send petition letters to their respective MPs. Please find inserted in the bulletin a prepared letter for your use. Please fill in your personal particulars and signature and drop it off in the box at the lobby or the side exit by March 6 latest. Also inserted is the action plan for all the Chinese Churches in defending traditional marriage.
  • Combining EMD Praise & Prayer & Maundy Thursday service: As part of our reflection for Lent, the EMD Praise & Prayer meeting will be combined with our Maundy Thursday service on March 24 at 7.30pm in church. Please set aside time to come as a congregation for a time of prayer and reflection in preparation for Good Friday and Easter.
